This Privacy Policy explains how ezHumanizer ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access and use our website ezhumanizer.ai, AI humanizer tool, browser extension, applications, and related services (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy has been prepared to help users understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. Chrome Browser Extension Privacy Notice

This section describes how ezhumanizer.ai collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects Personal Data in connection with the ezhumanizer.ai Chrome browser extension (the "Extension"), and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. The Extension's single purpose is to let you rewrite or "humanize" text using our text‑humanizing service from within your browser, and every piece of information we handle through it is used only for that purpose and the supporting functions described below. By installing the Extension, submitting text to it, or signing in to your ezhumanizer.ai account from within it, you agree to the practices described here.

What information we collect

When you submit text to the Extension — by typing or pasting it into the side panel, or by selecting text on a web page, right‑clicking, and choosing "Humanize with ezhumanizer.ai" — we receive the text content you provide, together with the rewrite mode you choose (such as Basic and Advanced) and the language you select. When you use the right‑click option, the Extension reads only the text you have highlighted, and only at the moment you choose to humanize it. If you sign in from the side panel, we receive the email address and password you enter, or, if you sign in with Google, the basic Google account information (such as your name and email address) that Google makes available to us through its authorization flow; the Google sign‑in token is used once to complete sign‑in and is not stored. While you remain signed in, the Extension keeps a session token and your basic account profile in your browser, and generates an opaque per‑installation identifier that we use to apply fair‑use limits to free accounts.

The Extension does not read the URLs, titles, or contents of the web pages you visit, does not record your browsing history, does not access form inputs on other websites, and does not contain advertising libraries, analytics SDKs, or other third‑party tracking technologies.

How we use this information

We use this information only to humanize the text you submit and return the rewritten text to you, to authenticate you and keep you signed in across browser sessions, to enforce free‑tier usage limits, to protect the service against abuse, and to diagnose technical errors. From time to time the Extension may open a new tab to ezhumanizer.ai so you can create an account, reset your password, view your full humanizing history, manage your account, or upgrade your plan; it does not transmit the text you submitted to those tabs. The only circumstance in which the Extension transmits your text outside of your browser is a direct request to our application programming interface in order to humanize it.

How we share this information

The only parties that receive data from the Extension are ezhumanizer.ai itself, which processes your submissions and account requests, and, if you choose to sign in with Google, Google LLC, which issues the OAuth access token used to complete sign‑in. The Extension does not call any other Google service and does not share your submitted text, rewritten text, or any other content with Google. We do not share Personal Data collected through the Extension with any other third party, except as already described under "Does ezhumanizer.ai ever share my Information" above, or where disclosure is required by law, is necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, or is required in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.

Limited Use disclosure

ezhumanizer.ai's handling of Personal Data we receive through the Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use that data only to provide and improve user‑facing features of the Extension. We do not sell or rent it, share it with data brokers, use it to determine creditworthiness, or transfer it for advertising of any kind (including personalized, re‑targeted, or interest‑based advertising). We do not permit any person to read the data, except with your consent for a specific support purpose, where reading is necessary for security investigations or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and de‑identified for internal reporting.

Data security and retention

All communication between the Extension and our servers takes place over HTTPS, and information we receive on our servers is protected as described in "How safe is my Information?" above. Information that the Extension keeps in your browser is held in your browser's standard extension storage area, which is accessible only to the Extension but is not itself encrypted by Chrome; we recommend you do not sign in to the Extension on a shared device or browser profile. Submitted text is retained only for the brief period described in "Content Submitted By User" above, and account information is retained as described in "How long is my Personal Data stored in the ezhumanizer.ai system?" above.

Your choices and control

Signing out from the Extension's side panel removes your session token and stored account profile from your browser, and uninstalling the Extension removes everything it has stored on your device. To delete the Personal Data held on our servers, please follow the steps described in "How can I erase my Personal Data from ezhumanizer.ai?" above. You can also review or revoke the Extension's permissions at any time by visiting chrome://extensions in Chrome.
